Status
aile.sh/status is live subsystem health, 90-day uptime, and incident history. Public: no sign-in.

The subsystems
They are listed separately because they fail separately, and the right response differs.
API gateway. Always green while the relay answers at all. It carries no signal of its own; when the relay is down this page says status unavailable.
Chat completions. Green when at least one sharer machine is connected or a
nodeless account is opted in. Amber means nobody is sharing, not that /v1 is
down.
Models & marketplace. Green when the price table has at least one priced model. Discovery can be degraded while inference is fine.
Metering & settlement. Green when a payment facilitator is configured. It does not watch payments or payouts move. A settlement problem does not stop requests: the balance path reserves and commits independently, and sharing earnings accumulate until the sweep resumes.
Key vault. Green when the credential-custody master key is present, red when it is not. Without it nothing is shared.
Dashboard & sign-in. Green when the sign-in provider and session signing are configured.
Green but nothing available
The most common confusion on this page.
An empty marketplace is not an outage. GET /v1/models and the marketplace
both read the live sharer pool, so a model with nobody sharing it is not
there, and a 503 naming a provider means exactly that.
| Symptom | Where to look |
|---|---|
503 naming a provider | Marketplace: is anybody sharing it? |
503 on everything | Status: Chat completions amber means no sharer is online; "Status unavailable" is the outage |
503 with x-aile-status: 502 or 504 | An upstream failure or timeout, sent as 503 so it survives the CDN |
401 | A problem with your key. Errors |
| Slow first token | Routing is price-first; a cheap sharer may be slow |
Uptime
The 90-day bar is measured. A day with a partial degradation shows as partial rather than being rounded to up or down.
Checking it yourself
The relay's health surface is public and needs no key:
1curl https://api.aile.sh/health2curl https://api.aile.sh/status
/health is a liveness answer for a monitor. /status is the same snapshot this
page renders.
What status cannot tell you
Whether a particular sharer is good. Health here is about Aile's own subsystems. A sharer's record (requests served, success rate, uptime) is on their marketplace card, counted from the ledger.
Whether the served model matches the one you asked for. Nothing on this page speaks to served-model identity. See Verification.
