Legal Terms of service

Terms of service.

The short version: share only capacity you have the right to share, pay for what you meter, don't abuse the proxy. We run protections for sharers and we tell you honestly where they stop. The long version follows.

01Acceptance

By connecting a wallet, listing capacity, or calling capacity on AILE.SH you agree to these terms. If you use AILE on behalf of an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the marketplace.

02The service

AILE.SH is a marketplace and metering router for decentralized AI inference. We match sharers who hold model capacity with callers who want per-token access, meter every request, and settle balances in USDC on Solana. Sharers may elect to receive their earnings swapped to $AILE; callers who fund in $AILE get a discounted price. Settlement itself is always USDC.

Capacity reaches the marketplace three ways, and they are not equivalent:

  • Self-hosted. The sharer runs the model on their own hardware and lists it here. Weights stay on that machine; nothing is uploaded to us. The sharer's machine reads the prompt in order to answer it.
  • Subscription-linked. The sharer links a provider account and AILE injects that credential at serve time. The relaying node forwards ciphertext and cannot read the prompt or the credential. AILE can — see protections.
  • Nodeless. AILE dials the provider directly, with no sharer node in the request path. Lower friction, and correspondingly fewer places the sharer can intervene.
  • We are not a model provider. Model output comes from the upstream provider or the machine a sharer connects.
  • We are not a party to calls. Calls are agreements between sharer and caller; AILE provides the rails, vault, and ledger.

03Protections we run, and where they stop

A caller's prompt can reach a real person's provider account. Two protections exist to keep a sharer from absorbing a stranger's behaviour, and both have limits we would rather state here than have you discover.

  • Egress we operate. Requests on custodied paths leave through proxy infrastructure AILE runs, geo-matched to the sharer where a match is available, rather than from the sharer's own address. Sharers do not supply, choose, or pay for it.
  • Pre-dispatch screening. Every request is inspected before it is dispatched — before a sharer is selected, before payment is reserved, before any socket is opened. Material that reads as child sexual exploitation is refused for every caller without exception. Requests that read as building working offensive tooling are refused for callers with recent upstream policy refusals against them, under rules our operators arm individually. A refused request touches no sharer and costs nothing.
  • What screening writes down. Prompt and response content is not persisted. Screening records carry booleans, counters, and the provider's own refusal category — there is no field for prompt text or a hash of it.

These reduce risk to a sharer's upstream account. They do not guarantee it, and nothing here is a warranty that any provider account will remain in good standing. Screening is heuristic and text-only: it does not inspect images, it can be evaded by rephrasing or coded terms, and the first request using a novel phrasing reaches the provider before anything is learned from it. Egress infrastructure reduces exposure of a sharer's own address; it does not make relayed traffic indistinguishable from the sharer's own. And on subscription and nodeless serves AILE terminates TLS with the provider, so prompt and response content is processed in memory to meter and screen it. Not persisted is not the same as not seen. A sharer who cannot accept that their provider account may be actioned should list self-hosted capacity instead.

04Sharer obligations

  • The right to share is a condition, not a promise. You may list capacity only if you are permitted to share or resell it under every agreement governing it, including your provider's terms. You represent and warrant that this is true for each listing, and it is a condition of your continued use of the marketplace. You remain the account holder; the relationship with your provider is yours, and compliance with it is yours.
  • You can stop at any time. Unlisting, disconnecting a node, or revoking a credential ends new dispatches to it. Requests already in flight complete and settle.
  • Honest capacity. Listings must reflect real, available quota. Persistent failures or misrepresented capacity lower trust scores and can suspend a listing.

05Caller obligations

  • Metered means metered. Usage is billed per token as measured by the proxy; the proxy's ledger is authoritative.
  • Acceptable use. No attempts to extract underlying credentials, probe the vault, evade metering, or use capacity you call for unlawful content. Provider acceptable-use policies flow through to you in full.
  • Do not work around screening. Rephrasing to evade the protections above, or using the marketplace to get conduct in front of a provider that the provider would refuse, is a breach of these terms independent of whether any individual request is blocked. You are sharing a real person's account standing when you send a request.

06Providers and trademarks

AILE is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any model provider. Provider and model names appear on this marketplace descriptively, to identify what a sharer has connected and what a caller is buying — there is no other way to say which model answers a request. All marks belong to their owners. Nothing on this site should be read as AILE encouraging any person to breach an agreement with their provider; whether a given account may be shared is a question between the sharer and that provider, and we require sharers to have settled it before listing.

07Notice, enforcement, and termination

A provider, rightsholder, or affected party can reach us at the contact address on this site with enough detail to identify the listing or account at issue. We act on substantiated notices: a listing can be suspended, a credential disconnected, a caller key rate-limited or suspended, and an account terminated.

We terminate repeat violators. We may also suspend without prior notice where continuing would expose a sharer, a provider, or the marketplace to ongoing harm — including on upstream policy refusals or screening blocks accumulating against a caller account, which suspends that account (and a new account opened from the same device and network) for sharers' subscription capacity while leaving other providers reachable. Suspensions are reviewable; write to us.

08Fees & settlement

The marketplace charges 10% of settled usage, taken from the sharer's share and never added to the price a caller is quoted — 15% on nodeless serves, where AILE supplies the egress instead of the sharer's machine, and 0% on requests paid directly with x402, which settle to the sharer in full. A sharer's payout election sets the asset their earnings are denominated in, not the rate. Callers who fund in $AILE draw on a balance priced 2% under list; no top-up fees, no listing fees, no subscriptions. Settlements are final once confirmed on Solana. Unspent caller balances and accrued sharer earnings are withdrawable at any time; on-chain network fees are yours.

09Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AILE's aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid to the marketplace in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for provider outages, model output, token price movement, losses from compromised wallets, or for any action a provider takes against an account you connected — including suspension, rate limiting, or termination.

You will indemnify AILE against claims arising from capacity you listed without the right to list it, or from requests you sent through the marketplace.

10Changes

We may update these terms as the protocol evolves. Material changes are announced in-app and on-chain at least 14 days before taking effect; continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
