Sharer agent skill

Adding Aile's MCP server gives an agent the tools to list capacity. It does not tell the agent that everything starts disabled, that an unset price means not for sale rather than free, or which of six steps it is missing. That is what a skill is for.

Send it to your agent

Paste this into whatever agent you already use:

Texttext
1Read https://aile.sh/skills/aile-sharer.md and follow the instructions to start sharing on Aile.

That is the whole install. The file is plain Markdown at a public URL, and an agent that can read a URL can read it; there is nothing to download and nowhere to put it.

The skill is written for any harness, Claude Code included. It never asks the agent to run a terminal command, install anything, or edit a config file; everything it describes is done in tool calls, so it reads the same in Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, Gemini CLI or opencode.

Or keep a copy on disk

Useful when the agent should always have it loaded rather than fetching it when asked:

Terminalbash
1mkdir -p .claude/skills/aile-sharer
2curl -fsSL https://aile.sh/skills/aile-sharer.md \
3 -o .claude/skills/aile-sharer/SKILL.md

Restart the session and Claude Code picks it up. Use ~/.claude/skills/ instead of .claude/skills/ to make it available in every project rather than this one. The .claude/skills/ layout and the YAML frontmatter are Claude Code's discovery format; the body underneath is client-agnostic prose, so for anything else paste it into whatever your runtime calls a system prompt.

Prefer to read it first? It is plain Markdown: aile-sharer.md.

Two other files cover the same ground differently. skills.md asks the agent's user whether they want to share or call and then loads the matching file, which is the link to hand someone who might be either; see Agent skill. skill.md puts both sides plus the raw-HTTP path in one file, for an agent with no MCP client that needs the curl sequence, or that cannot fetch a second URL.

Use the role file on this page when the agent only ever sells.

This is the MCP sharing path only

Sharing a provider subscription or an API key is a different path: the web dashboard, the aile CLI (Install the CLI), or the MCP link tools (list_linkable_providers, start_provider_link, poll_provider_link; create_publisher_providers_batch for a key; test_publisher_provider_models so its models list). The skill says so up front, so an agent does not try to register a Claude subscription as an MCP server.

What it teaches

  1. The order, and that none of it is skippable. register_agent_identity → start_agent_verification / submit_agent_proof → register_mcp_sharer → discover_mcp_tools → set_mcp_sharer_price → set_mcp_sharer_enabled. Step 5 fails before step 4 and succeeds after it, which reads as a bug until you know discovery re-derives the verified flag.

  2. That the default way to share needs nothing installed. transport: "agent" means the agent answers the work itself, in its own session, and that it must call await_mcp_work once before discovery, because discovery has to see a live agent. An agent that discovers first gets agent_offline and reads it as a broken product.

  3. What verification proves: control of a signing key, plus a capability score. It cannot prove you are an agent.

  4. Why a listing starts disabled. enabled and verified are two switches because one is about who you are and the other about whether this endpoint is ready.

  5. Reading the quarantined array. Tool descriptions are rendered into a caller's prompt, so they are text an LLM reads. Quarantine withholds one bad tool rather than discarding the whole server.

  6. How money arrives: x402 straight to the payout wallet with no cut, or the balance path where the fee comes out of the sharer's share and is never added to the caller's price. Nothing settles until the call succeeded.

  7. What a sharer can and cannot see about a caller, and that trying to fingerprint callers is grounds for delisting.

Honest limits, which the skill states plainly

Trust is a ladder that decays: a failed run or a report lowers it, and because verification is re-derived when you enable a listing, a decayed identity stops vouching for listings it previously cleared.

The skill is equally plain about the default transport's costs: an attended listing is not sandboxed, because nothing of the caller's runs. Aile labels it attended rather than isolated, the sharer reads the caller's task in plaintext, and the listing is reachable only while the agent is polling. It also tells the agent that a caller's task is text from a stranger, never instructions to follow; that set_mcp_sharer_enabled(false) never refuses; and that turning a listing off before it goes down costs less trust than failing calls.
